The Legend of Maula Jatt – enthralling trailer is out

For long time now, the first official trailer of “The Legend of Maula Jatt” is finally out and it is making people say “mind-blowing”.

However, so many viewers call it, “Desi” Game of Thrones of Pakistan. The film will be an intense, action-packed ride.

Years and years in the making, the trailer for Bilal Lashari’s was posted on social media and it was worth the wait!

The movie will hit cinemas in Pakistan on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr 2019, and it is the subcontinent (India and Pakistan) to release in China with its world release.

Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, one of the most loved onscreen pairs across countries have reunited, and Pakistan’s superstars including Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malick Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyer Ejaz and Saima Baloch have been featured for a tale timeless and powerful.

This is Fawad Khan’s second Pakistani film after working in Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Khuda Key Liye’ while Mahira Khan’s 6th film after – ‘Bol’, ‘Bin Roye’, ‘Ho Mann Jahan’, ‘Verna’ and ‘Saat Din Mohabbat In’.

The film seems like a cross between Hollywood’s “Gladiator” (2000) & Lollywood (Pakistan) “Wehshi Gujjar” (1979), it will still be worth to watch “The Legend Maula Jatt”.

Before the Bilal Lashari’s film hits the cinemas, its fans already got amazed by the trailer which features the stunning Fawad Khan as Maula Jatt with the versatile Hamza Ali Abbasi as Noori Nath.

‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, believed to be one the most expensive Pakistani movie, replaced the Pakistani’s Punjabi wrestling pits, it is a stylised update to the 1979 action film “Maula Jatt”. It traces the journey of a local hero Maula Jatt who takes on a brutal gang leader “Noori Nath”.

‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ has been directed and written by Bilal Lashari, whose directorial debut film Waar (2013), holds the record of being the seventh highest grossing Pakistani film.

The actions and scenes seem to be away from reality, nevertheless, it is an ‘epic’ film-imaginations.

This most awaited movie has been directed by Bilal Lashari who has gained fame with his directorial “Waar” film (2013) and bagged the 7th highest record

Co-produced by Ammara Hikmat and Asad Jamil Khan under production banner of Encyclomedia PR, the movie stars Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in lead roles along with Mahira Khan and Humaima Malick. The cast also includes Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyer Ejaz and Saima Baloch, among others. Singer Ali Azmat is also making a cameo in the movie.

‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ is said to be Pakistan’s most expensive production to date and it looks like it is going to be one intense, action-packed drama.

The producers and writer claim that ‘The Legend Maula Jatt’ is neither a sequel nor a remake of the 1979 blockbuster ‘Maula Jatt’, but it is a fresh script based on the legend characters – Maula Jatt and Noori Nath.
