The heartthrobe Mikaal Zulfiqar will be playing Captain Salman with the Khaani star Sana Javed as Dr. Samira in the up coming drama Zard Bahaar which is schedule to be aired after Eid-ul-Adha.
The drama is based on a love story of a commercial airline pilot Captain Salman (Mikaal) and Dr. Samira (Sana) with a lot of twists and turns as naturally in all Pakistani dramas show. — However, Mikaal calls it a “very intrinsic love story”.
“Captain Salman is very romantic who goes out of his way just to impress her. The graph of the character that I play is quite interesting.”
“Actually the script is amazingly written; it is realistic and the audience will easily relate to the characters and will take something back from it,” said Mikaal.
“The issue of watta-satta is also there. There are 2-3 issues in this play that arise,” said Mikaal.
“Zard Bahaar” has been directed by the legendry director Rubina Ashraf whose daughter Minah Tariq is introduced while playing Captain Salman’s sister role.
The serial is written by Naila Ansari and Produced by Six Sigma. The cast includes Usman Peerzada, Irsa Ghazal, Muhammad Ahmed, Seemi Raheel, Osama Tahir, and Shermeen Ali.
Pakistan’s superstar, producer and director Humayun Saeed and the legend Nadeem Baig have also worked on the production of Zard Bahaar.
