Pakistan’s letter

Beloved ones turned a blind eye, making my hope vacillate. With these words, tears trickled down my face.  Still, looking forward to a happy ending.

Dear Diary,

With a heart as heavy as 1000-ton engine, I feel plunged into depression. Words have refused to cooperate with my ideas. I am somewhere between death and life.

With a crushed dignity, I learned that they assumed my “eternal” existence. My independence became entangled in the boa constrictor of horse trading, “power lust”, leg-pulling, lashing out, assassination attempts, blackmailing, etc. are no longer alarming. Rather, these ingredients have blended into the culture. The fierce youth is distressed. I wonder whether their inspiration and devotion to stand out from the crowd have evaporated. To them, success means zooming to stardom on social media.

Beloved ones turned a blind eye, making my hope vacillate. With these words, tears trickled down my face.  Still, I’m looking forward to a happy ending.

More cannot be written. Pounding hearts and boiling emotions: poor me! I end up praying for Allah’s mercy. With kindest regards,

Faithfully yours
