2025 was the year when almost everyone I knew was feeling low. People were not feeling like themselves. There was suffering everywhere—financial difficulties, family issues, professional confusion, emotional strain, and several unspoken conflicts that nobody discussed. “2025 needs to end” was a common statement I saw in numerous conversations when I looked around or even conducted an internet search. 2026 is the year many are waiting for. Many hoped it would come sooner and provide relief. Some people lost their money, relationships, and even a life which we can’t even imagine. Many believed it wasn’t a favourable year, even in terms of astrology and astronomy. Whether or not that is true, many people felt that 2025 was a hard year.
But it’s passed now.
As we step into 2026, it brings new hopes. Some are expecting career growth, better job opportunities, or financial stability. Some want peace in their families, stronger bonds, trust, and emotional support. Others simply want mental peace and a chance to breathe again. Everyone is hoping for something magical.
Failure sometimes led to heartbreak, but the act of trying itself builds something inside us.
Firstly, I want to thank The One, Who is The Creator. Yes, I had a difficult year in 2025, but I also got something. It was better than the previous years, better than 2023 and 2024, even though it didn’t go according to plan. I gained a lot of knowledge that influenced my perspective of life and developed my brain muscles. I now think that it’s not necessarily the end when you lose. Losing can occasionally be the start of something fresh and more significant. There’s an old saying that when one door closes, another opens. I didn’t believe that fully throughout the year, but now, as I sit here in January, looking back, I understand it better. Somehow, 2025 taught me that lesson.
What stands out most for me is the effort. I tried a lot of things again and again. Even when I failed, I kept trying. Failure sometimes led to heartbreak, but the act of trying itself builds something inside us. It strengthens the mind, improves mental stability, and trains us to endure. That effort, that persistence, is also an achievement, even if it doesn’t look like one on the surface.
It’s not necessarily the end when you lose. Losing can occasionally be the start of something fresh and more significant.
I saw many people achieving great things, and I also realised that as humans, we always seek more. Now, 2025 has passed, and we are in the new year 2026. A new year does not mean we are teleporting from one life to another. We have a long year ahead—12 months, 365 days. We must try again. If something did not work in 2025, it does not mean it will never work. Maybe there was a barrier, or maybe it just needed more time.
In 2026, we continue to strive diligently to make ends meet. We must keep putting in effort. There are still many things that need to be addressed—particularly our inner wellbeing, mental health, and the quality of our thoughts. I genuinely wish that whatever individuals aimed to accomplish in 2025 will come to fruition in 2026. However, hope alone is insufficient; effort remains essential.
This is my perspective as I enter 2026—with insights, losses, hard work, and optimism.
